Tree of Contemplation

I love the idea of a tree of contemplative practice. At Schumacher College there is a majestic Horse Chestnut Tree that stands proudly on the front lawn. She is a very wise member of the community, a revered contributor of the teaching faculty and an elder (not to be confused with an Elder), who is always available for contemplative practices. Thank goodness for all trees. Our one-legged friends. The above picture illustrates some of the contemplative practices available to us. It's not intended to be complete. Feel free to add a branch and include your own practice and watch the tree blossom and grow! For more information click on this webpage http://www.contemplativemind.org/practices/tree.html
